Snow removal is best performed in tight neighbourhoods as there is only so much time to clear the snow. The service is cheaper for those in that tight area because of the economies of scale. Our residential snow crew meets two types of client's demands at once. We provide a quick in and out snow clearing of the driveway for those who can shovel their porch themselves and who want an affordable service. For those who cannot shovel and want a super clean driveway our shovelling crew performs a separate visit before the driveway is cleared to shovel the walkways (and salt the driveway if done after the drive has been cleared).

How much snow needs to fall in order for you to come?

We offer snow removal services as soon as 1.5 inches (4cm) of snow has fallen. We monitor weather reports closely and respond quickly to ensure your property remains clear and safe for you and your guests.

How long will it be before my driveway gets cleared?

Our team strives to clear your driveway within 12 hours after the snowfall stops. We understand the importance of timely snow removal, and we make every effort to provide efficient and reliable service to keep your property safe and accessible.

Do you offer one time snow removal?

No, it is too difficult to plan spontaneous service requests.

Do you offer salting?

Yes, we offer salting as part of our snow removal services. We use a product called Hot Pink De-icer (HPD) which not only melts ice and snow effectively but also supports families affected by breast cancer. HPD is an eco-friendly product that is gentle on concrete and other surfaces, and it helps to prevent slips and falls on your property during the winter months. Our team applies HPD strategically to ensure the safety and accessibility of your property, and we're happy to discuss the details of our salting service with you.

Is the contract based on snow fall?

No, our contract is a seasonal contract that covers the four months of winter. This contract includes unlimited snow removal visits throughout the winter, regardless of the amount of snowfall. We believe that our clients should have peace of mind knowing that their property will be taken care of throughout the winter months, regardless of the weather conditions. Our team is dedicated to providing reliable and consistent service, and we're committed to ensuring your property remains accessible and safe throughout the winter season.

How much does shoveling cost?

Our shovelling crew is currently sold out, but we usually charge between $469 to $879 per season for our shovelling service. The price will vary depending on several factors such as the size of your walkways and steps, your location, and whether we will clear the city sidewalks. We always provide a tailored quote that meets your specific needs and requirements. Our aim is to provide high-quality shovelling services that keep your property safe and accessible during the winter season.

Do you offer seniors discounts or cash discounts?

We take pride in offering great value for our services and do not provide seniors discounts or cash discounts. We believe that our prices reflect the quality of service we offer, which is always high-quality snow removal and property maintenance services at competitive prices. To ensure the safety and security of our clients, we do not accept cash payments and instead provide safe and secure payment options. Does my driveway get cleared at the same time as the front steps?

Generally, no. We have separate crews for shoveling and snow removal to optimize our efficiency. Our aim is to clear the front steps and walkways prior to clearing the driveway, but sometimes the shoveling crew may come after the driveway has been cleared. If you have any specific requests or concerns regarding the order in which we clear your property, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Do you offer refunds if I am not happy?

Yes, we offer refunds if you are not satisfied with our services. If you decide to cancel your contract during the season, we will deduct the visits or time spent under the contract, and we will e-transfer the remaining amount back to you. We want to ensure that you are completely satisfied with our services, and we take all feedback seriously.

When is payment due?

Payment for our seasonal snow removal contract is due in two installments. 75% of the total contract amount is due on November 30th, and the remaining 25% is due on January 30th.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept several payment methods for your convenience, including credit card, e-transfer, and cheque. You can choose the option that works best for you. Please note that we do not accept cash payments for our services, as we prefer to provide safe and secure payment options for our clients.

Is your equipment going to scratch my driveway?

Our equipment is designed to protect your driveway from scratches. We use nylon or tivar scraping edges, which are non-marking and provide a gentle touch to your driveway. While they may not scrape the snow as clean as steel scrapers, we believe that the trade-off of protecting your driveway is worth it.

Do you have a referral Program?

We do offer referral rewards to our valued clients who refer their friends, family, and neighbors to our snow removal and property maintenance services. Typically, we offer a $50 credit or cash incentive for every direct neighbor you refer who signs up for our services. This is our way of thanking you for your loyalty and for helping us expand our customer base.

Do I have to have those branded ugly snow stakes at the end of my driveway?

Our company does prefer to use our branded snow stakes as they help with advertising our services, which in turn helps us maintain competitive pricing. However, we also offer the option of using thin, fluorescent orange markers if you prefer. These markers are much less obtrusive and meet our minimum requirement of protecting our equipment from hitting curbs.

What is the best way of getting in touch with you during a storm?

The best way to get in touch with us during a storm is by sending a text message to our number at (905) 333-4666 or by sending an email to our customer service team. We find that responding to text messages and emails is more efficient during a storm, as we can address multiple inquiries at once. Please note that during a storm, our response time may be delayed due to high volume, but we will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.

Can you guarantee my driveway is cleared by 7:00 Am?

We do not promise service times. We flip the route order every other snow storm so you are guaranteed to be in the first half of the route half of the time.

Do you service driveways outside of the bolded area on the map?

Yes but we charge $200 more for the driveway and $200 more for the shovelling.
