Our Story

The business began in 2006 when Jonathan and Nathan Verduyn needed a part time job after school. They didn’t have a driver’s license and so they began mowing lawns and biking to people’s properties. Over time the business grew and continues to defy the status quo.

Our Mission

Our mission at The Better Way Property Maintenance is to help others by doing things differently. We believe that property maintenance should be more than just cutting lawns or shoveling snow. We strive to provide our customers with exceptional service that goes beyond what is expected.

We want to make a fun work environment where you can develop skills in landscape maintenance! Working with the Better Way team will hone your business acumen as we will give you revenue goals and discuss how you can reach them. We listen to feedback from our staff and are open to hearing from you. We buy tools in consultation with our crews so they have the best ergonomic equipment.
